Did you, by any chance, missed the IDP Charity Concert held at Royal Palm recently?
In case you did for which ever reason, let us tell you that you missed one rocking night! From the start to the finish, it was a journey of music, passion, and devotion to the cause at hand. A healthy crowd of close to 500 Lahoris came together to cherish the memories of fellow musician and friend Jamal Mustafa – who recently passed away – as well as to pay tribute to and support the Internally Displaced People of SWAT.
According to the latest figures acquired from Adnan Sarwar, the chief organizer of the event, Rs. 417,500 were raised in a single night! This amount is enough to feed a family of 4 for one good month and that tells you how invaluable buying a single ticket to this event was!
The line-up was an impressive one! Mekaal Hassan, the boys from Coven, Kiran Arshad Chaudhry, and the fantastic team of Overload kept the crowds glued in front of the stage till the end!
